Having Kerya represent me was the best decision I ever made when it came to my child support and time share rights case. As a single father I was completely unaware of the many areas surrounding time sharing law in the state of Florida. Kerya was able to convince the court to award me nearly a 50% time share with my son’s mother. A very infrequent occurrence in most states. Kerya helped get me the time I wanted with my son.

My name is Nickole Glover and this is my story of Kerya Koeut as my adoption attorney.​ ​The birth mother had just chosen me and my head was spinning. It was the end of the year in December 2008 and my daughter was due at the end of January 2009. Many attorneys I called wanted nothing to do with me because the baby was due in a month and it was the holidays. ​I remember this day like it was yesterday, my last attempt to hire an attorney was Kerya due to her location being somewhat of a distance from my home and when I called her late in the afternoon asking for her assistance in adoption I thought for sure she would not answer the phone and would probably be starting her holiday with her family. Boy was I shocked. ​Kerya herself answered her phone and listened to my story. I hired Kerya Koeut in 2013 and I’ve been so pleased with that decision ever since. I’ve been involved in a very convoluted and extensive child custody battle but once Kerya stepped in all outstanding issues were resolved being for her competence, persistence, and outstanding law knowledge. 5 stars isn’t enough for Kerya! I’m not one to just give people 5 stars. I try to keep my reviews honest. My experience with Kerya has been ongoing since June of 2020 when I filed for divorce WITHOUT an attorney. She met me and saw that I needed a break, and that’s exactly what she gave me. I didn’t realize what I’d be in for by hiring her. Kerya has fought for me every step of the way. My case was and still is so difficult. If there’s any lawyer in the Tampa Bay Area who can handle those difficult cases it’s her. She proved in court what I had been telling everyone since I filed for divorce. When I tell you it was not easy, I mean it. I had everything taken from me. At one point I told Kerya just to forget it, I’m giving up. I felt so hopeless. She was not having that! First she told me to get it together, then she explained how we were approaching the case to ensure I was going to see my daughter. My daughter was the only important part of my divorce. After a custody hearing, Kerya won me my daughter. I’m not going to go into my case since it’s still on going but I’m forever grateful to Kerya. Dana is also keryas new associate lawyer and she is just as powerful! They both know family law so we’ll and can run circles around any other lawyers in the Bay Area.
